Children are vaccinated with the purpose of preventing them from getting infections. They are vaccinated against viruses, bacteria and even parasites. Vaccination begins at birth and continues all the way to adolescence.

It is advisable to follow your vaccination appointments strictly and carry with you the vaccination schedule during every visit for regular updating.
Vaccines like drugs cause side effects, they can be mild ones like a rash, fever or pain at the injection site or severe ones like seizure. If you find unusual reaction to a vaccine please contact your primary doctor to get a clarification.
It is important to know that even vaccinated children get infections they were vaccinated against but their bodies have been equipped with a better chance to fight off the infection than an unvaccinated child.
